  • Q: How many online modules are there in each course?
    A: There are typically three to four modules in each course followed by a 2.5 hour pre-scheduled webinar.
  • Q: How long does it take to complete the online coursework?
    A: Each module takes approximately 30-60 minutes to complete.
  • Q: Will I have to purchase books or other course materials for the required readings in these courses?
    A: No, all required and recommended supplementary readings are included with the course.
  • Q: How long do I have to complete the modules?
    A: You have the flexibility to work through the modules at your own pace; however the online work must be complete before the scheduled class webinar for that quarter.
  • Q: Are there assessment questions?
    A: Yes, at the end of each module you will have the opportunity to test your knowledge of the subjects covered with an online assessment. You can take these as many times as needed.
  • Q: Can I communicate with other students and the faculty during the online portions?
    A: Yes, the online classroom environment is fully interactive and includes discussion boards, video conferencing, as well as the ability to message students and faculty.
  • Q: Can I take the webinar for a different quarter?
    A: No, students should attend the webinar during the quarter they are completing online course work. Students with exceptional circumstances, should contact the GEN coordinator to discuss options.
  • Q: How long are webinars at the end of the course?
    A: Course webinars last approximately 2.5 hours.
